SmartSeal provides a high performance weather, draught proofing and light sealing solution.
The SmartSeal threshold section with Sealmaster’s patented valve-controlled drainage ensures ease of access with maximum weather protection. The SmartSeal threshold section is available in two versions: one for timber or vinyl floor finishes (section TB) and the other for carpet finishes incorporating a square edge to butt against the carpet (section TA).
The SmartSeal threshold drainage trough is covered to prevent a tripping hazard. A range of weatherboard and contact strip options are available in a choice of finishes to suit both traditional and contemporary door designs. For outward opening doors the contact strip is fitted to the inside face of the door and is a discrete section, which does not detract from the style of the door and provides an outward opening door seal application.
The threshold, weatherboard and contact strip sections all utilise covers to hide their fixings and ensure clean, crisp, lines. SmartSeal seals can be used with virtually all Sealmaster stop seals.
APPLICATIONS
The contact strip combinations provide effective sealing options for outward opening doors. The weatherboard combinations provide effective sealing options for inward opening doors. Weatherboard and contact strips are available with concealed fixings and snap on covers in a range of finishes.
The SmartSeal combination seals can be used with virtually all Sealmaster stop and meeting stile seals to enable a door set to achieve a high level of weatherability, to ensure no rain water flows under the bottom of your door.
Threshold Plates: TAG, TAS, TBG, TBS (Can be used alone but the weatherproof system requires a contract strip or a weatherboard). The TAG/TAS profiles allow internal floor surfaces such as laminate flooring, floor tiles, quarry tiles and entrance matting to be butted up against the threshold plate.
Contact Strips: CAG, CAS, WBC (Compatible with threshold plates to create a weatherproof system).
Weatherboards: WAG, WAS, WBR, WBH, WCH, WBW, WCW, WCR (Compatible with threshold plates to create a weatherproof system).
