Sealmaster automatic DropSeal has been engineered to fill the gap between the door bottom and the floor or threshold plate (Up to a maximum gap of 12mm). The seal is operated automatically by pressure against the door jamb on its adjustable plunger. The spring loaded mechanism ensures a self-levelling sealing along the entire door bottom length. The mechanism retracts into the aluminium case when the door is opened.
The DropSeal is provided with detailed fitting instructions on how to rout it into the door bottom. The product is also provided with fixings including stainless steel clips, frame protector and screws. Quick and easy installation with hidden fixings.
The Sealmaster DropSeal has been tested to BS EN 1634-1 2014 BS EN 1363-1 2012 and BS476 Part 22. Test data available on request. It has been durability tested to over 1,000,000 cycles. Test evidence on request. The case and carrier is aluminium with an extractable internal mechanism with steel leaf springs, the seal is in self extinguishing silicone.
APPLICATIONS
The door DropSeal is available in a range of sizes from 535mm to 1135mm, each of which can be cut down by up to 100mm to suit the door width.
The drop down door seal can be used in combination with threshold plates TL, TM, TN from the Thunder range, to provide a more effective seal and allow for a larger under door gap.
