The Deluge 4013 is a brush seal insert designed for use with Deluge aluminium carriers, including SEM and TTM holders. When rebated into the joinery as part of a Deluge stop seal system, the 4013 insert provides an effective sealing solution for controlling air movement, smoke, light and sound leakage around doors and windows.

Manufactured with a high-quality, densely packed brush, the Deluge 4013 insert is particularly suited to applications where minimal resistance and smooth operation are required. The flexible brush filaments conform easily to the door leaf, accommodating minor variations in door alignment while maintaining continuous contact along the sealing line.

The 4013 insert is typically used in conjunction with appropriate threshold seals and meeting stile seals on double doors to create a complete perimeter sealing system. When correctly specified and installed, it contributes to reduced air leakage and improved acoustic performance while allowing for low closing forces and ease of access.

Common applications include replacement doors and window frames, areas requiring light control such as photographic dark rooms, and environments where reduction of draughts and sound transmission is important. The brush profile also makes the Deluge 4013 well suited to doorsets subject to frequent use.

The insert fits securely into the SEM or TTM carrier and can be replaced without removing the aluminium holder, allowing for straightforward maintenance and long-term performance.
