The 3090 insert is a flexible blade seal designed for use with the Tempest seal system. It is intended for installation on rebated meeting stiles of pairs of doors, such as French doors, or in applications where the door leaf and frame are flush.
The blade profile provides effective control of air, smoke, and gas leakage, particularly in situations where minimal compression is required or where tighter tolerances are present. When used in conjunction with other Tempest stop and threshold seals, the 3090 insert forms part of a complete sealing solution.
Manufactured from flexible neoprene, the 3090 blade insert fits securely into the Tempest base holder, delivering reliable sealing performance and durability while allowing smooth door operation.
