The Cyclone 3087 is a high performance neoprene seal insert designed to be used within Cyclone aluminium threshold plates, including TES/TEG and TES/TDG sections. When installed as part of a Cyclone threshold system, the 3087 insert provides effective weather sealing, draught exclusion, acoustic insulation and light containment at the base of doors.

Manufactured from durable, flexible neoprene, the 3087 insert maintains excellent compression and recovery, ensuring long-term sealing performance in both internal and external applications. It is easily fitted into the threshold plate and can be replaced without removing the aluminium section, making it ideal for maintenance or retrofit projects.

The 3087 insert is suitable for use on doors subject to regular traffic and varying environmental conditions, including locations requiring a weather-tight seal. When combined with compatible Cyclone contact strips or weatherboards, it forms part of a complete sealing solution designed to prevent water ingress beneath the door leaf.

This insert is commonly specified in applications where enhanced acoustic and light sealing is required, including studios, music rooms, interview rooms and photographic darkrooms. It is also suitable for use in buildings incorporating gas flood fire suppression systems.

When used with Cyclone threshold plates, the 3087 insert supports low-profile threshold solutions that comply with Part M of the Building Regulations, allowing ease of access without compromising performance.
