Sealmaster Fire Risk Assessment


FIRE RISK ASSESSMENT
In October 2006 the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 came into effect in England and Wales, consolidating elements of over 60 separate stautes and identifies the requirement for a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment to be carried out on all none-domestic premises and that this assessment is subject to regular review. Similar legislation was introduced about this time in Scotland i.e. the Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006 and Northern Ireland i.e. the Fire Safety (Northern Ireland) Regulations 2006.

The  ‘Responsible Person’ for a building as defined in the Regulatory Reform Order may chose to appoint a ‘Competent Person’ to help him discharge this responsibilty and this is where Sealmaster’s Building Research Establishment trained staff can help. We can assist  the Responsible Person in undertaking a suitable and sufficient risk assessment and advise on cost effective ways of eliminating, reducing or controllong the identified risks as part of this assessment.
